Star fashion designer turned acclaimed director Tom Ford says that he is working on a second film, but he declines to discuss it in light of the whirlwind surrounding his current feature, A Single Man.
Ford spoke recently with Marc Malkin of E! Online at the GQ Men of the Year party.
"I have something I'm working on but I'm not ready to talk about it," said Ford, according to Malkin. "I just finished [A Single Man] in August and then we went to Toronto, Venice, Tokyo and London promoting it and my head is spinning. Maybe six months after we're finished with all this I'll be able to figure out what I want to do next."
However, Ford was clear on his refusal to try acting again. The 48-year-old acted in television commercials early in his career after dropping out of New York University.
"You know, I used to act when I was younger, but I quit," said Ford to Malkin. "I did it from about 17 to 24. I was too self-conscious. I didn't like it. I wasn't in control."
