Golden Girls star Betty White talked with Diane Sawyer of ABC News about the Facebook effort to draft her to host Saturday Night Live. The 88-year-old comedian called herself a “technological spaz” who does not understand how the campaign works, but she appreciates the attempt, provided she can host without any nude scenes.
Sawyer also talked with David Matthews of Texas, who created the Facebook page that now has over 375,000 fans. He said he would like to see White dress up in one of Lady Gaga’s costumes on the show.
Matthews said that White’s agents told him that SNL has expressed preliminary interest in the bid.
