Presented by Theatre Askew, the trans performer’s engaging solo act, which features songs by Avenue Q’s Jeff Whitty and others, muses on gender identity as it details her brief 1987 incarceration for solicitation. Out star of MilkMilkLemonade (recognizable to many for his recent hilarious guest spot on 30 Rock, funnyman Michael Cyril Creighton won the Best Web Series Pilot award at the 2010 New York Television Festival for this indispensably uncomfortable tragicomedy, which is bitterly inspired by the cupcake addict’s job at an off-Broadway theater box office. Following the online sitcom’s February 28 third-season premiere, Creighton’ll post a new episode every two weeks. Watch them here.
