Shy, bi director Lynn Shelton’s previous film, Humpday, depicted two straight male friends making a gay porn film. In her latest, Jack (Mark Duplass), a man grieving his late brother, comes between Iris (Emily Blunt) and her lesbian sister Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt) in a gentle comedy marked by sharp, observant dialogue and naturalistic performances. Now in select theaters.
