Hot Sheet: Here, Here

The top 10 entertainment and events highlights this week: from Elaine Stritch to RuPaul to From Here on Out's sex farce.

8. FILM: Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me
Younger audiences will know Elaine Stritch, 88, for her role as the strong-willed mother of Alec Baldwin’s character on 30 Rock. But the actress boasts a Broadway career that spans decades, from 1952’s Pal Joey to the landmark 1970 Stephen Sondheim musical Company, in which she stopped the show with a sardonic, now-iconic musical toast to “The Ladies Who Lunch.” A new documentary premiering today, Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me, follows Stritch as she recalls highlights from her lifetime in entertainment, with testimonials from friends and colleagues such as Tina Fey, Nathan Lane, and James Gandolfini.
