WATCH: Diamond Rings Go Glam with "I'm Just Me" and "Runaway Love"

No white after Labor Day? Pushaw says John O'Regan (better known as Diamond Rings), who stars in his new music video for the song "Runaway Love" wearing the most fashion-forward glam white pants seen since David Bowie was still Ziggy Stardust. Diamond Rings' brand new album sophomore, Free Dimensional was released today and the song "Runaway Love" is also available as a limited time free download. The latest Astralwerks release for O'Regan, who Entertainment Weekly recently compared to Lady Gaga (at least fashion-wise), is getting stunning reviews for his clever juxtapositions and refreshingly intelligent lyrics, as well as his newfound devotion to a sort of retro-meets-futuristic version of synthesized electronica.

O'Regan says he had to get over his fear of high-tech bells and whistles after his first album. "A big part of being afraid of something is not understanding it," he admits. "Once I became more comfortable with the medium of electronic music, it was only natural to want to improve."

Next up: A tour (with label mates Gold Fields) and a turn on The Late Show With David Letterman on Oct 26.
