PHOTOS: Israel's First Gay Holocaust Memorial

As many as 15,000 LGBT people were killed in Nazi concentration camps. Tel Aviv is the first Israeli city to unveil a memorial.

According to bbc.co.uk, writing on the monument in English, Hebrew, and German reads: "In memory of those persecuted by the Nazi regime for their sexual orientation and gender identity."
