The Advocate heads behind the scenes with the cast of Venice, the new lesbian themed web series co-created by and starring Days of Our Lives star Crystal Chappell.

Chappell went to work on the show after it was announced that Guiding Light had been canceled, and her character Olivia's same-sex romance with Natalia would end. The actress said she's never connected with a storyline in quite the same way she felt drawn to the "OTALIA" pairing, and thus, Venice -- a show that gave her control how much same-sex romance was shown -- was born.

Venice premieres on December 4th.
