Singer and Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham dedicated her performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday to Jennifer Tyrrell, the lesbian mother who was pushed out of her position as a Boy Scout den leader because of her sexual orientation.

Graham, wearing a modified Boy Scout uniform with a big rainbow patch, started her performance by saying, "In my scout troop, everyone's welcome!"

Canadian actress Suzanne Clément won Un Certain Regard Award for Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her performance in the film Laurence Anyways.

The film, by 23-year-old director Xavier Dolan of Quebec, is a drama set in the '90s about Laurence (played by Melvil Poupaud) trying to salvage his relationship with his fiancée, played by Clément, after revealing that he is interested in transitioning to physically become a woman.

"Key to Your Soul," a new Del Shores-directed music video from John LePage and Debby Holiday depicts a young gay boy who finds hope and love after being bullied.

The antibullying message in the song and video is a personal one for both Holiday and Shores. "The honor of being able to do what I love, get people on the dance floor, and share the message of unity and strength is as good as it gets for me," Holidays says in a statement.

Adam Lambert has released the video for "Never Close Our Eyes," the latest single from his historic number 1 album, Trespassing.


Lambert recently described his intention with the video, saying, "What I was trying to say with this, no matter what comes your way, if you make a decision to just look at things a different way and just flip your perception a little bit, maybe it's not so bad. Maybe it does get better if you want it to."
