I agree with the writer who took Ms. Herman to task for her anti menstrual comments. Menstruation is a miracle of the human body. Without it there could be no new life. We in the feminist spirituality have menstrual circles where we celebrate menstruation. Menstruation is a sacred biological function. Tampons and sanitary napkins are not dirty and our bodily process of menstruation is not some unsanitary curse. Shame on Joanne Herman.
