The Passing Media Glare

In response to the question posed in your article about the Beaties: "Will the media ever leave them alone?" I think we can say, yes, they will. It has been just over a month since the Beaties were wire news and where are they now? They have been moved off the front pages by politics, natural disasters, and other everyday news items. Once the reporters got their mileage out of the Beaties, they moved on. Just goes to show you that the media glare is fleeting. Maybe that means the story wasn't so shocking after all. On a personal note, bravo to the Beaties for telling our story. If more of us did this, we wouldn't be shock value; we would be everyday individuals, which is what we are all working toward.
