Section 2 - Letter Details

Letter Subject:

The Hottest Spot Online

Letter Title (Pull Quote):

"My mother shops on that site all the time."

Letter Body:

I was amazed when I read the opening line to your article about Craigslist.org. My mother shops on that site all the time. Matter of fact, the computer I am using I got from there. I have to agree that the "men seeking men" page is like a "after-hours bareback sex party." The minute I saw that, I moved to another page. If I really wanted to "hook-up", I would have gone to another site or two that I know that I could find someone. But what has happened to us? I mean, are really too busy to meet someone on the street or through a friend that we have to advertise ourselves on the internet for the whole world to see. Though I agree that we should "police ourselves", I think that our policing should also be overseen by some others. I mean the police chiefs have their bosses too, though no one really thinks about that. I cannot think of one person that is left to police themselves, much less ourselves.
