Shame on me. I
was enthralled by his 1976 campaign. I went to see him
talk at Southern Illinois University and was so jealous of
my best friend who shook his hand at the rally. Then,
I was disappointed by his lack of "backbone" during
the hostage crisis. He became a "gentle man" in the
90's...pushing for "just" causes I respected. I just
watched. In the current years, I became a "contributor" and
admired his passion for helping to eradicate horribly
devastating diseases we ignore. Now, I'm ashamed that
this man has been noble all his life and I have been
nothing but an observer. Jimmy for President!
