Apparently,
The Advocate's editors don't live in Colorado
Springs. The point of the campaign was to get people
to talk. And it did. It made the evening news, it made
the newspapers, it made Focus on the Family very
angry. Perhaps the editors would like to live in Colorado
Springs the way it is right now, but i would like to
think that Norman started a dialogue that at least
made people think for a few seconds. As for spending
the money on education, what would you have them do? Try to
force gays into the curriculum of schools that are funded by
conservative parents? Be happy they got as much done
as they did.
