Almodóvar postpones work on Mala Educacion
According to Variety, gay Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar has postponed production on his semiautobiographical film Mala Educacion (Bad Education) due to unspecified casting problems. The film is to be a dark look at the lives of two boys as they make the transition from church school in the 60s to life under dictator Francisco Franco. Almodóvar, who won the foreign film Oscar last year for All About My Mother, will instead be moving forward with the romantic drama Hable con Ella (Talk to Her).
