"La Lesbian @ La Peña" series kicks off in Berkeley
The "La Lesbian @ La Peña: Lesbian Performance & Film Series" kicks off Thursday, October 25, with stand-up comic Elvira Kurt at the La Peña Cultural Center, 3105 Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley, Calif. Performances continue on November 1, 4, and 7, with everything from comedy to salsa dancing. The film series runs November 9-11 and features a number of lesbian-themed films and videos.
