The WB acquires new series from Greg Berlanti
More than a week before the network plans to unveil its fall season, the WB has announced that it has picked up Everwood, a new series created by Greg Berlanti (The Broken Hearts Club, Dawson's Creek), according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show centers on a famous brain surgeon (played by Treat Williams) who moves to the small Colorado town of Everwood with his two children following the death of his wife. Industry insiders say the WB is also close to announcing a pickup of Good Morning, Miami, a new sitcom from Will & Grace creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.
