Cuaron goes from Y Tu Mamá to Harry Potter

Variety reports that Y Tu Mamá También director Alfonso Cuaron will direct Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the third film in the series based on the best-selling novels by J.K. Rowling. Although the homoerotic Mamá is by no means a kid's movie, Cuaron's earlier films include the acclaimed adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess. Filming on Azkaban will begin in early 2003.
