Sale of Apprentice props to benefit AIDS organization

Officials with the hit NBC reality program The Apprentice have partnered with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation to offer up several props and show-inspired packages on the online auction site eBay to benefit the foundation. Immediately following the West Coast airing of the program's two-hour finale on Thursday, April 15, fans can log on to eBay at www.ebay.com/apprentice and bid on the items. The charity auction will run through April 27.

"Both Donald Trump and I strongly believe that investing in charitable causes is just good business," said Mark Burnett, executive producer of The Apprentice and board member of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. "We are so pleased to offer memorabilia from the show to raise funds for such a worthy cause. Each time someone bids on Apprentice items, they are ensuring a healthier future for children worldwide." Burnett is also the executive producer of the smash CBS reality series Survivor, which in the past also has partnered with the Glaser foundation to sell props and memorabilia on eBay to support the organization.
