Lambda Literary finalists announced

The Lambda Literary Foundation announced finalists Tuesday for the 17th annual Lambda Literary Awards, celebrating achievements in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender literature for books published in 2004. The awards will be presented in New York on June 2. Two new categories--Gay Men's Debut Fiction and Lesbian Debut Fiction--were added this year, and the honorees in each category will receive a $1,000 honorarium.
