Gay film shorts festival, December 11 in NYC

NewFest will partner with the IFC Center in New York City to present a series of LGBT programming on the second Monday of each month beginning in December. The first showing, on December 11, will feature the NewFest LGBT Local Short Showcase, which will highlight New York City filmmakers.

The night will feature films about book-loving women, tensions in Lamaze class, and plenty of quirky love stories, each less than 15 minutes long.

General admission is $10.75. Tickets are available at www.ifccenter.com. IFC is located at 323 Sixth Ave. at West Third.
