Summit, June 16, Long Beach, Calif.
The Long Beach, Calif., Department of Health and Human Services and the Gay and Lesbian Center of Long Beach will host the fourth annual Long Beach Gay Men's Health Summit. This year's theme, "Journey to a Healthy Life", is highlighted through interactive and self-empowering workshops on sexual health, nutrition, healthy lifestyle, spirituality, and body image. A variety of health screenings will be available, including free HIV testing.
The summit will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at the Long Beach Courtyard Marriott, 500 E. First St., Long Beach. Admission is free. For more information, call the Gay and Lesbian Center of Long Beach at (562) 434-4455 or visit them online.
