"Help Is on the
Way XIII: Goes to the Movies," billed as Northern
California's largest annual star-studded gala concert, will
benefit five Bay Area AIDS Service Agencies: Aguilas,
AIDS Legal Referral Panel, Maitri, Stop AIDS Project,
and Vital Life Services. The event will
be presented by the Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation.
The roster of
performing celebs includes Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior
Princess, Battlestar Galactica), Joey McIntyre
(Wicked, Dancing With the Stars), B.D. Wong
(M. Butterfly, Law & Order: SVU),
Kimberly Locke (American Idol), and Bruce
Vilanch (Hollywood Squares, Hairspray), as well
as cast members from the San Francisco version of
Jersey Boys, and many others.
The benefit takes
place August 5 at the Palace of Fine Arts, 3301
