The bad boy of Gossip Girl will turn his attentions to another man on the upcoming third season of the New York–based teen soap.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Chuck Bass, played by British actor Ed Westwick, will lock lips with the fictional head of NYU's freshman affairs. Apparently, the kiss is a ploy to gain favor with the NYU employee -- it's all part of a scheme concocted by Bass's part-time girlfriend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester). The same-sex object of Bass's affections is played by actor Neal Bledsoe, who's has appeared on CSI: NY and Guiding Light.

Westwick plays quite the heterosexual lothario on the CW show, but in the books on which the series is based, the Bass character eventually discovers he's bisexual.
