Mad Men star Bryan Batt does not plan to marry his partner, Tom Cianfichi, in Vermont this holiday season, contrary to claims in the National Enquirer.
The actor’s representative denied the rumor in a statement reported by Buddy TV.
"Their goal is to eventually marry, but the time has yet to be determined and will not happen this year," the statement said, as reported by Buddy TV. "There must have been miscommunication in reporting the story that ran in the October 12th issue."
Batt and Cianfichi, who have been together for almost 20 years, are registered domestic partners in Batt’s native New Orleans.
Batt plays a closeted 1960s gay character, advertising agency art director Sal Romano, on Mad Men.
