American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has been spotted making out with a nude female model -- pretty surprising considering Lambert is gay and happily dating a man.

Of course, the make-out session was for a cover spread in Details magazine, but nonetheless it's sparked quite a reaction on the Internet. Lambert is seen not only kissing a wispy model, but also rubbing his hands over her naked body.

The pictures are all part of a promotional campaign for the 27-year-old singer, who has a new album out this month, and a new single -- "Time for Miracles" -- attached to the soon-to-be-released disaster pic 2012.
