“Joe the Plumber” still has some archaic ideas when it comes to homosexuality. He appeared on The Joy Behar Show Monday to talk about his feelings regarding gays and lesbians, reiterating his stance that he doesn’t want “those people” around his children.
Joy Behar took the opportunity to educate Republican activist “Joe” on a few stats, telling him that he is confusing gays with pedophiles and that 70% of pedophiles are straight men.
Behar also accuses “Joe” of vilifying gays, to which he responds, “I have had friends who are homosexual. Two of them have died from AIDS.”
