Canada resident Daniel Baylis tweeted about a T-shirt fit for Americans smarting from the loss of same-sex marriage in Maine. The message on the shirt? “Yes we can … move to Canada.”
Baylis, who writes about the gay scene in Montreal, called the shirt “an ironic t-shirt for the post-maine crowd” on his Twitter page.
Canada legalized same-sex marriage in 2005.
