In 2008, Christopher Reid was found guilty of raping a woman at a Washington State University sorority house. A porn star who worked under the name Jack Venice, he appeared primarily in straight videos, though gay-for-pay solo performances surfaced after he was convicted.
Now Reid has posted a personal ad on the website WriteaPrisoner.com. In his profile Reid writes, “There is a lot of stuff about me and why I'm in prison online. Make of it what you will I guess.”
Reid was found guilty of one count of second-degree rape, two counts of residential burglary, and one count of first-degree burglary in the rape of a WSU student. He was given a life sentence and isn’t eligible for parole until 2017.
In an interview while he was still performing in films, Reid told the blog Men of Porn, “I am 100% comfortable with having gay fans but I am not gay and never will be for any price. It’s just not my thing and I think it’s funny when guys do it for money. Someone that does it just for money in my eyes is a sell out.”
But during the trial it was revealed that Reid also performed under the name Jack Miller and was available for solo work. He had a profile on a popular gay male escorting site and advertised that he was available for Internet appearances and in-person meet-and-greets.
