U.K. gay mag Attitude is courting the 21-year-old former lover of antigay Northern Irish MP Iris Robinson for its cover.
Last week the 60-year-old politician, who represents Northern Ireland in the British parliament, revealed she was cheating on her husband at the same time she was telling the media “homosexuals” could be cured through counseling. Robinson made the remarks after the media asked for her thoughts on an Irish man was attacked for being gay.
Kirk McCambley was 19 years old when he and Robinson had an affair in 2008.
"Kirk is incredibly hot and we’d love to see him on the cover of Attitude,” the mag’s editor, Matthew Todd, said in a statement. “We think our readers would go as wild for him as Iris obviously did. We’d love for him to get in touch. We’ve put in a few calls to the Lockkeeper’s Inn [McCambley's café] but no one has answered the phone."
Iris Robinson announced in December that she would step down from her political post and retreat from public view to better treat her mental illness. She said she suffers from clinical depression.
