Mission accomplished for Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry — the Torchwood fanatic has been able to woo star John Barrowman across the pond for a five-episode stint on the ABC dramedy.
Barrowman, the out gay actor who built a cult following on the BBC series, will be a foil for Drea de Matteo’s Angie. He is set to debut in April.
Cherry has long said he wanted Barrowman to join the series. He said it was a matter of finding the right role.
