Veteran actress Betty White has legions of admirers (is there anyone who doesn’t love this national treasure?) and they are now urging NBC’s Lorne Michael to sign the 88-year-old Golden Girls star as host for an episode of the equally venerable late-night hit Saturday Night Live.
