Where the Boys Are star Connie Francis returned to the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., beach where the iconic movie was filmed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its release and announce this Memorial Day Weekend’s Connie Francis Great American Beach Party.
But the star got a big surprise when she found out the four male models hired by a local talent agency to escort her to a press conference were actually gay-porn stars.
Francis is pictured with porn star Matthew Rush on the beach. According to reports, it was Francis’s hairdresser who recognized the men.
The 71-year-old actress apparently thought it was funny and told friends, “Everybody’s got to earn a living.” But Fort Lauderdale mayor Jack Seiler was reportedly mortified and quickly made it clear the city was not involved in hiring these men.
