Ellen DeGeneres sat down with Wanda Sykes and discussed American Idol on The Ellen DeGeneres Show's Earth Day episode.

Recent media gossip indicates that host Ryan Seacrest convinced rising star Crystal Bowersox not to drop out of the competition. Although  DeGeneres wasn't able to confirm this rumor, Sykes humorously described a time that Seacrest talked her out of quitting as well.
