Charlaine Harris, author of the The Southern Vampire Series, which inspired True Blood, chatted with The New York Times about the sexual experimentation of her characters.
“Most of my vampires have experimented with other sexualities,” said Harris to Deborah Solomon, resident Q&A columnist of the Times' Sunday magazine. “Eric, Sookie’s lover, was turned into a vampire by a male vampire who had a sexual relationship with him for many years. Pam is bisexual. Lafayette is gay.”
Solomon also asked Harris if she is bisexual. The answer is no.
