"I'm cancelling what I was supposed to be doin..to go ...yeah ILL BE THERE!! I'm not scared nor do I have any hatred for ANYBODY," the rapper tweeted.
Wale previously canceled his performance, citing family obligations and saying he did not know Black Pride was a gay event.
According to WRC TV, a Washington-area television station, Wale tweeted that he was not supposed to be in D.C. until July.
J Holiday was booked to headline the event after Wale's cancellation and will still perform Sunday at Black Pride, to be held at the Washington Convention Center.
