In honor of Memorial Day, producers of The View invited a military-only audience to enjoy the show, with guests including outspoken liberal comedian Sarah Silverman and gay Glee star Chris Colfer.
Colfer talked to the ladies of The View about being bullied in school (it happened “every day,” he says) and the loving relationship between his character Kurt and his TV dad.
“It’s really one of the first times a relationship like theirs has been seen on television, which is unfortunate, but it’s good that it’s on now,” Colfer told the hosts.
Colfer tweeted before appearing on the show that he and Silverman had cuddled backstage.
