Mike Jones on Clergy Clients

Mike Jones — the escort who brought down Ted Haggard — shares his thoughts on prostitute-loving clergy members, including the priest who embezzled over a million dollars from his church to pay for male hookers.

Jones writes on The Daily Beast that he's not surprised by the actions of Haggard or Father Kevin Gray, who was recently charged for stealing $1.3 million from Waterbury, Conn.'s Sacred Heart Church.

"Why am I not shocked?," Jones writes. "During the 1990s, when I worked as an escort in
Denver, Colorado, I estimate at least 15 percent of my clientele were
clergy or connected with the church in some way."
