They make such a cute couple. If only they were allowed to act like one.
That was the gist of a jab made by Glee creator Ryan Murphy, ostensibly at the sitcom Modern Family, which features a gay couple, Cameron and Mitchell, who have yet to share an on-screen kiss despite a spate of smooches from their heterosexual counterparts on the hit ABC show.
“I hate it on TV shows, and there’s one show that I won’t name right now, where it’s like, ‘Why aren’t these character[s] kissing? Don’t they have a child?’ That’s ridiculous to me. I don’t understand it,” Murphy said at a Televison Critics Association tour, as reported by Greg in Hollywood.
