7:57 p.m. -- Modern Family beats Glee and wins the Emmy for Best Comedy Series.

7:52 p.m. -- Mad Men wins its third consecutive Emmy for Best Drama Series.

7:50 p.m. -- Capping off a big night, Temple Grandin win Best Made-for-Television Movie.

7:40 p.m. -- Al Pacino wins his second Emmy for Best Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for playing Jack Kevorkian in You Don't Know Jack. His first was for playing Roy Cohn in Angels in America.

7:28 p.m. -- Claire Danes wins her first Emmy for Best Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for Temple Grandin. The show has won three acting awards.

7:19 p.m. -- Jewel sings in tribute to the actors who have passed away this year, including Emmy winner and Golden Girl Rue McClanahan, Dennis Hopper, Lynn Redgrave, Lena Horne. and Dixie Carter.

7:15 p.m. -- David Strathairn wins the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for Temple Grandin.

7:10 p.m. -- Julia Ormond wins her first Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for Temple Grandin. She thanks costar Catherine O' "what's her name ... Hara."

7:03 p.m. -- George Clooney gives a moving speech in accepting the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.

6:53 p.m. -- The Daily Show With Jon Stewart wins a seventh Emmy for Best Variety, Music, or Comedy Series.

6:41 p.m. -- Best writing for a variety special -- the 2009 Tony Awards.

6:33 p.m. -- Kyra Sedgwick wins her first Emmy after multiple nominations for Best Actress in a Drama for The Closer. Asks Tina Fey to hold her Emmy -- Tina says, "At least I get to hold one tonight."

6:26 p.m. -- Jimmy Fallon pays tribute to the end of 24 dressed as Elton John.

6:15 p.m. -- Bryan Cranston wins for Best Actor in a Drama for Breaking Bad.

6:14 p.m. -- Archie Panjabi wins the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for playing bisexual private investigator Kalinda Sharma on The Good Wife.

6:07 p.m. -- Aaron Paul wins the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Breaking Bad.

6:04 p.m. -- Matthew Weiner and Erin Levy win the Emmy for Best Writing in a Drama Series for Mad Men.

5:52 p.m. -- Top Chef wins the Emmy for Best Reality Show-Competition.

5:47 p.m. -- Edie Falco wins the Emmy for Best Actress in a Comedy for Nurse Jackie. She says, "Thank you. I'm not funny."

5:45 p.m. -- Neil Patrick Harris thanks the Academy for allowing "a gay man to host the Emmys two years in a row. Congratulations, Jimmy, you're doing great."

5:38 p.m. -- George Clooney hops into bed with Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet for a Modern Family sketch.

5:35 p.m. -- Ryan Murphy wins an Emmy for Best Directing in a Comedy Series for Glee. Thanks Tom Ford for "the tux" and dedicates the awards to all of his teachers.

5:33 p.m. -- Presenters Lauren Graham and Matthew Perry get no laughs for a joke about Chandler on Friends being gay.

5:25 p.m. -- Jane Lynch wins the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for her role as Sue Sylvester in Glee. Thanks her "lord and creator Ryan Murphy"; her wife. Lara; and their daughter.

5:22 p.m. -- Steve Levithan and Christopher Lloyd win the Emmy for Best Writing in a Comedy Series in Modern Family.

5:13 p.m. -- Eric Stonestreet wins the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Emmy for playing Cameron on Modern Family. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays his husband on the show, is crying during his acceptance speech.

5:05 p.m. -- Tim Gunn shoves a red handkerchief into Jimmy Fallon's pocket during the opening number, "Born to Run." Jane Lynch, Betty White, and Chris Colfer among the performers.

4:53 p.m. -- Lea Michelle confirms she and Britney Spears will share a scene on Glee.

4:48 p.m. -- Modern Family's Sofia Vergara says if the show wins Best Comedy, she'll run down the Sunset Strip naked.

4:40 p.m. -- Nominee Wanda Sykes: "If I lose, I will take Betty White home."

4:28 p.m. -- Nate Berkus's favorite question: "What does your bathroom floor look like?"

4:24 p.m. -- Billy Bush interviews Glee's Chris Colfer, who says, "It's incredible that a gay character has such a following. One of my biggest demographics is older dads because they see my relationship with my father and they put themselves in that position."

4:12 p.m. -- Nominee Jane Krakowski congratulates red carpet host Nate Berkus on his new TV show.

Glee stars Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer will show off their dancing skills as part of an all-star opening number at Sunday night's Emmy Awards.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the costars are expected to appear in a number choreographed by Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin and featuring Tina Fey, Community's Joel McHale, and Mad Men's Jon Hamm.

Host Jimmy Fallon is expected to open the show with a performance of "Born to Run."
