Nineteen-year-old lesbian Aiyisha Hassan ended her life October 5
after struggling with her sexuality, reports the website LezGetReal.
From 2008 to 2009, Hassan attended Howard University in Washington, D.C.; she then moved back to California, where she reportedly took her life.
”She was having a lot of trouble with a lot of different things,” Hassan's friend Lauren Morris said, according to LezGetReal. ”But mainly her sexual identity and just trying to express that.”
