Magic Johnson, Boris Kodjoe, Loretta Devine, Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams, Omari Hardwick of For Colored Girls, and more turned out Wednesday night for the Black AIDS
Institute’s 10th annual Heroes in the Struggle event — and one of the
night’s most common topics was ending the down low.
Kodjoe perhaps summed it up best when he said, “Stop the hypocrisy, the whole BS, ‘God doesn’t approve.’ Bullshit. God loves everybody, so live your life.”
