The Croatian Football Federation head who last month said there would never be a gay player on his team was reelected to a fourth term.
Vlatko Markovic beat his competitor by one vote.
Last month he said as long as he heads the federation, no gay player will feature for Croatia. He also said he had never met a gay player because "only healthy people play football."
Markovic is being investigated for discrimination. Last month the football authority’s disciplinary panel said it needed more time to consider a verdict.
