On last night’s premiere of MTV’s Coming Out, Nevin, a 20-year-old African-American collegiate all-star athlete from Ohio, came out to his college rugby team.
The one-hour documentary also featured the personal journey of Rachael, a 21-year-old lesbian from Sacramento, who came out to her estranged father.
MTV says the show “reveals the anxiety, pain, and exhilaration of the coming out process as Rachael and Nevin proudly stand up for who they are, even if it ultimately puts those relationships in jeopardy.”
Watch a clip of Nevin below.
