First Couple to Marry in California Reacts to Prop. 8 Ruling

The first couple to be married in California, who are also challenging the constitutionality of Proposition 8, isn't surprised by the court's ruling on Thursday. The state supreme court decided that backers of Proposition 8 have the legal standing needed to defend the law in court even though the governor and attorney general have opted not to fight for it.
