Presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s suggestion that marriage equality is
a de facto embrace of polygamy did not go over well during a
question-and-answer session with students in Concord, N.H.
"So if everybody has the right to be happy, if you are not happy unless you are married to five other people, is that OK?" he asked repeatedly in response to a question about marriage equality.
The crowd shouted back at him, "Irrelevant!" and "That's not what I'm talking about!" That only led Santorum to double down on his question.
