Brave teen Madison Galluccio urged the New Jersey Assembly to allow her fathers the right to be married.
Galluccio, of North Haledon, says current laws make her and her family feel less than equal. The state's legislature is debating a marriage equality bill, which both houses will bring up later this month. Republican governor Chris Christie is threatening to veto it.
"My parents will be married and I will make sure this happens until the day that I die," the 15-year-old said. "Will you help me? Help me feel equal?"
