WATCH: Dustin Lance Black on Prop. 8, Election 2012

Dustin Lance Black, the Oscar-winning screenwriter and one of the founding board members of the American Foundation for Equal Rights, spoke to The Advocate after an appeals court called Prop. 8 unconstitutional on Tuesday.
AFER was the group that brought the Prop. 8 case to a federal court. On Tuesday, Black was in the front row at a Los Angeles AFER press conference that followed the appellate decision coming down. We asked Black, the writer of Milk, J. Edgar, and the play 8, about how the upcoming presidential election could impact the course of the case. Watch his response below:
