After posting a story about a gay-porn set featured prominently in the Oscar-winning film The King's Speech,QueerClick.com editors say producers of the film have sued them for "irreparable harm caused to the film and producers' reputations." In a blog post, editors for the site say they "eventually agreed to settle for a punitive amount of $200,000 and all rights to QueerClick.com, its sub blogs and material holdings. So it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that QueerClick.com will cease operations on April 17th."

Radio and TV host Nick Cannon cancels his segment with Perez Hilton because his wife, Mariah Carey, has gone into labor with twins. Perez posts about it, AOL picks up on it, and Cannon took to Twitter an hour later to say he just pulled off the "best April Fools' prank on my radio show ... got to take most of the morning off."

Anderson Cooper tweeted that he and most of his staff called in sick. Moments later, he tweeted that he's working anyway and wants people to send in their ideas for an April Fools' prank.

What three famous actors are coming out in a press conference at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Monday? Gawker won't say, but they note that the three men will be starring in a new movie called The Shocker.

A company called Donr is touting a new social app is making it easier for lesbians to find sperm donors. The app not only lets women find donors who are nearby, it enables them to readily access information on their potential child's potential father's education, hobbies, health, and more. A search of the iTunes store turns up no such app, nor does a search on Google.
