Take Me Out at New Conservatory Theatre, May 11–July 1 in San Francisco

The New Conservatory Theatre Center presents Take Me Out, Richard Greenberg's winner of the 2003 Tony Award for Best Play. The play follows the rich, handsome, and talented Darren Lemming, the star center fielder of the world Champion New York Empires, who casually announces he's gay and finds people do not accept him as readily as he thought they would.

The play runs May 19–July 1, with previews May 11–19. The New Conservatory Theatre Center (Walker Theatre) is located at 25 Van Ness Ave. at Market St. in San Francisco. For tickets visit www.nctcsf.org or call the box office at (415) 861-8972.
